WMT Youth Leadership Camp is an all boys camp led by powerful men of God who are strong and certified leaders. WMT YLC is a unique camp that empowers each camper to grow and develop as they are encouraged to build a legacy of their own alongside fun memories! We strive to create a safe, fun, experience-rich environment that will lead to incredible adventures that will ultimately lead to a lifetime brotherhood legacy.
The Story Behind Our Camp
This camp will be an extension of the legacy that William M.Thomas began in the Sawyerville/Tuscaloosa area. Community outreach was his heart and continues to be the foundation for this camp. William M. Thomas dreamed of a day where family would pick up the torch and have a vision and heart for the community. This dream has come into fruition with a vision that God has supplied Chante Becerra and her husband Frank Becerra to start W.M.T. Youth Leadership Camp.
The vision derived from the leadership that William Thomas demonstrated and encouraged Chante and Frank's boys-Trey and Tanner. All their life they have been taught what it means to lead God's way while learning skills they can use from a young age into adulthood. Working together with an attitude of togetherness to accomplish much is the mantra that resounds in the legacy for this camp. Through the vision that the Lord has provided-this camp will be the dynamic change that is so needed among the youth. A place where they can come and have Godly leadership, support, love, and make memories that will encourage their own personal life legacy.
OUR CAMP
W.M.T. Youth Leadership Camp is a christian boys camp for youth ages 8 and up to
come and gain key leadership skills from strong christian role models. The purpose of this camp is to
pass the torch to the youth and encourage them in the things of the Lord while learning skills, having FUN
and building relationships within this camp community!

Children will experience the best week of their life as they encounter God through team competitions, dynamic games, and fellowship all in the beauty of God's creation!
This is an opportunity for your children to be a part of activities together that teach them skills to work together, unity, and build positivity they can bring back and share with their friends and family!
The Experience
Enjoy and experience total fun in an atmosphere that supports and encourages togetherness. Each day of camp begins on a Thursday and ends on Sunday morning and is supervised and directed by certified and approved camp leaders who's sole purpose is the safety and each will have your campers application, schedule, and any informaiton provided by each parent/guardien. Each trained and skilled camp leader will be able to be reached at any point during your campers stay!
Athletics
Ready to experience pure fun? Imagine a complete four days filled with field day games and water games where you can compete alongside your brother and friends! This is bound to be the best four days of anyone's summer where any skill level can participate and try new things! Children make their own mark while having a blast in a safe, enriching christian environment surrounded by positive men role models. Our focus and emphasis is to help develop independence, build sibling relationships, and encourage them to acquire leadership skills that will help now through adulthood!
