Health
We have highly-qualified and caring staff available to care for your child while they are at camp. In addition to having a licensed nurse on camp grounds to provide medical care, administer medications, or other medical needs of your child-they are available to communicate with you directly should any issue arise with your child.
Our camp staff are CPR and first aid trained and campers are under the direct supervision of our trained staff team who supervise and oversee all camp programs. In addition, all camp leader staff members have received additional and extensive levels of training as it pertains to youth safety principles and guidelines.

Camp Staff
Staff Training & Youth Safety
At the WMT Youth Leadership Camp, the safety and well-being of every child is our highest priority. Our camp leadership team has completed specialized youth training through Royal Family KIDS in partnership with Valley View Baptist Church, a program recognized for preparing volunteers and leaders to safely and effectively work with children in camp environments.
This training provides staff with instruction in best practices for working with youth, including child safety protocols, appropriate supervision, mentorship, positive behavior guidance, and creating a structured environment where young people feel safe, respected, and supported.
Through this rigorous training process, our staff learn how to build trust with youth, encourage teamwork, and maintain safe group dynamics while ensuring that every activity is conducted with the highest standards of care and accountability.
All WMT Youth Leadership Camp leaders are trained in camp-based operations and maintain up-to-date preparation in youth safety and leadership development. These standards help ensure that every camper participates in a program that is both engaging and secure, allowing them to grow, learn, and have fun in a safe environment
